Appointment in Garden / Picnic in Villa

"Appuntamento in Giardino" is an initiative proposed by APGI - Associazione Parchi e Giardini d'Italia. The event, designed as an authentic garden festival, was born in accordance with the initiative "Rendez-vous aux jardins", which will take place simultaneously in many European countries.
SATURDAY 1 AND SUNDAY 2 JUNE 2024
For the occasion, Villa dei Vescovi proposes a two-day event full of initiatives.
On Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 June guided tours are scheduled at fixed times (11 - 12 - 15 and 16) and during the two special days activities in the green.
In both days it will also be possible to deepen the theme of Biodiversity thanks to the immersive video-installation "An environment for the environment" - set up in the basement of the Villa, and entrusted to the voice of Marco Paolini - that the FAI dedicates to the story of the landscape as an outcome of the inextricable interweaving between history and nature.
You can also visit the Villa independently with the audio guide activated at the ticket office via QR Code.
For the little ones and their families is also available a treasure hunt in the green spaces to discover plants, flowers and shrubs. HOURS AND PROGRAM From 10 to 18, last entry at 17

Saturday, June 1
11 am: guided tour with the gardener to discover the green areas of Villa dei Vescovi
16:00: practical activity of planting some melliferous plants always in the company of the Gardener of the Villa (activity by appointment) Sunday, June 2
Special workshops on sowing and care of seedlings by the Coop. Teaching Green Ideas (activities by appointment, one shift in the morning and one in the afternoon).
Sunday, June 2 is also scheduled the event "Pic Nic in Villa": the public will have the opportunity to picnic in the Brolo with the basket prepared by the Bistro inside the Villa.
