The five senses in the Pogliaghi garden

THE FIVE SENSES IN THE POGLIAGHI GARDEN Visit to the garden of the Casa Museo Pogliaghi, the only historical park of the Sacro Monte of Varese, the result of the project of Lodovico Pogliaghi, an eclectic artist and author of the Porta del Duomo of Milan. The garden, arranged on two levels, houses centuries-old species and also finds collected by the artist owner of the house and works by Pogliaghi himself. At the end, on the small but panoramic terrace of the Rustici, presentation and tasting of Elixir al Borducan, born in Sacro Monte from the idea of Davide Bregonzio in the late nineteenth century, combining the herbs of the Sacro Monte with Algerian oranges. It will be possible to know the herbs used (without revealing all the ingredients: the recipe remains secret), taste the scent and also the taste with the tasting.
