For garden lovers, these themed tours allow you to discover the exceptional flora of Villa Medici.
Visitors can access areas usually not open to the public such as the Bosco, the wildest area of the garden. The visit will concern the historical context of these gardens, which have largely preserved their sixteenth-century layout, as well as their current role within Villa Medici. They represent an invaluable living heritage, a place of experimentation and sharing. The gardens have been the subject of an innovative eco-responsible management policy for more than 10 years and are the meeting point of the fundamental missions of the French Academy in Rome.
